The rumors are finally surfacing that the Chicago Bulls could find a new general manager to replace Gar Forman. Who should that be?
The report from Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times that the Chicago Bulls are in the early stages of looking for their next possible general manager had to be considered good news to this fan base. This is news that the Bulls fan base and media waited to here for a long time now. In the midst of all the criticism to the Bulls organization during NBA All-Star Weekend, that was hosted at the United Center in Chicago, the ownership had to finally take some notice of all the dysfunction going on here.
The Bulls president of basketball operations John Paxson looks to stay aboard with how these rumors are painting the picture of the planned overhaul of the front office. It sounds like the general manager Gar Forman would be the one to either see the door completely in the Windy City or find himself assigned to a new role.
If Forman were to be reassigned within the Bulls organization, a scouting role looks to be the fit for him. Paxson would be likely to stick around as the president of basketball operations, which is not the news that Bulls fans would be looking for.
Most of all if the Bulls do make a change in the front office would be finding a new head coach to replace the antics of Jim Boylen. One of the worst parts of the season so far for the Bulls is all the antics put on display by Boylen.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski later confirmed that there could be a shuffling of the Bulls front office by the outset of the 2020 offseason.
Here’s a look into the five best general manager replacements if the Chicago Bulls are looking to re-position Gar Forman’s role with the franchise.
