Second quarter

The Bulls shot 2-for-10 from beyond the three-point line through the 9:34 mark. This did not deter the Bulls from continuing to try.

To the Wizards’ dismay, the Bulls pulled to within 5 points of the Wizards just north of the 5-minute mark.

Special credit goes to Satoransky for continuing to play aggressively when he took to the floor. In a pair of instances, he was seen draining a pair of three-pointers.

In other instances, Satoransky’s ability to probe the paint in hopes of finding an open man was on full display at times against the Wizards. This proved to be a bright spot for the Bulls.

In another development, Bulls guard Coby White showed a bit of court vision down the stretch.

You read that, right?

In another development, Bulls guard Coby White showed a bit of court vision. Down the stretch, he was seen whipping the ball to LaVine for an easy bucket at the rim.

Check it out:

It’s not common for White to pass on an opportunity to score. In this case, he gave up a chance at a bad shot to create a better one for one of his teammates.

Still, the Wizards led the Bulls 69-62 at the end of the second quarter.
