The NBA Trade Deadline is tomorrow, and today we continue the 6-part series of trades between the Chicago Bulls and every other team in the NBA.

As moves have already been made this week, the Chicago Bulls are currently evaluating their teams needs and direction in order to come to a decision with regard to what they will do at the deadline. The team could very realistically be a buyer, seller or even stay put. It is unlikely that the team makes any major moves between now and tomorrow afternoon, but smaller deals are a real possibility.

The Southwest division contains some interesting trade partners for the Bulls, with some of these franchises currently in rebuild mode, some that could be on the brink of a rebuild, and a few contending rosters. Each of these teams are on extremely different timelines, creating a very wide variety of trade packages in this slideshow.

The Houston Rockets were the team to make the first splash at the deadline this season, and although an exciting deal for the NBA as a whole, it makes it much more difficult to get a deal done with Chicago. On the other hand, the New Orleans Pelicans may be very eager to deal some of their veterans in order to further add to their arsenal of young talent.

As the previous four slideshows have done, this article will propose trade packages with each of the five franchises in the NBA’s Southwest Division. Each trade will be followed by a thorough analysis of how the swap helps each team pursue their goals and remain on their respective timelines. Additionally, each deal stays within the boundaries that the NBA’s salary cap rules. With this being said, let’s take a look at the first deal of the slideshow with the New Orleans Pelicans.
