3. Salvage a draft pick

Could this be the fourth year in a row where the Chicago Bulls pick seventh overall in the NBA Draft?

In each of the last three NBA Drafts, the Bulls did snag a key piece to the rebuild. But there has to be something more concrete this summer if the fan base isn’t to go absolutely insane on the front office and ownership. Patience is beyond thin right now, and it doesn’t help that this cycle of free agency is so thin on talent.

The Bulls are going to have to make good use out of their 2020 NBA Draft pick. This could be yet another franchise centerpiece that is a building block for the future.

The good news is that the Bulls made really good use out of their second round pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. If they can utilize both picks that well this year, then the rotation should be very deep heading into the 2020-21 regular season.

The problem is where do the Bulls go with their 2020 NBA Draft pick? Even if they find themselves at or near the top of the draft lottery, this could be a tough decision.

Do they go UNC point guard Cole Anthony, former Memphis center James Wiseman, Maccabi Tel Aviv wing Deni Avdija, or someone else?
