3. Chandler Hutchison, Small Forward

A name for the Chicago Bulls that could be commonly looked over when scanning for potential trade deadline targets is the 6-foot-7 former Boise State Broncos small forward Chandler Hutchison. A player that is averaging 5.8 points per game, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.6 assists could command a decent amount of trade value this year.

Even though OPJ is still injured with his lingering foot fracture for the Bulls, Hutch isn’t getting a much larger role under Boylen. Hutch can be a true three-and-D wing for the Bulls, granted not the best one ever. His three-point shooting is improving this season and his ability to rack up steals and hit the glass is pretty good.

Hutch is shooting nearly 44.0 percent from three-point range, but in slightly under one attempt per game. Boylen getting Hutch more looks from the outside on the wing would be smart, but maybe another team and different head coach could make a better use out of his skill set.

In the eyes of GarPax, they might view the modern value of a true wing as something that another team could capitalize on. This wasn’t the greatest use for the Bulls second pick in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft, though.

Hutch doesn’t have much of an ability to create his own shot or facilitate the offense. But he provides enough value to at least make a positive impact on both ends of the floor off the bench.
