A player that stuck around a lot of trade discussions of late could be on the move soon if the Chicago Bulls elect to dish out forward Thaddeus Young.

Pulling the trigger on a Chicago Bulls trade that could send the recently signed veteran power forward Thaddeus Young to another team would mean ditching this experiment pretty early on. But it would also be a wise move since head coach Jim Boylen isn’t utilizing the well-known skill set of Young correctly and the Bulls can dish him out while his trade value is still high.

The Bulls are only getting Thad on the floor for about 22 minutes per night, which is way less time than he got with the Indiana Pacers over the course of the last two or three seasons. His win share numbers are down as a result. Young has less than one win share on the season so far, which is bad compared to his seven about from last year.

The idea of the Bulls sending Young to the Los Angeles Clippers for a return of the former Portland Trail Blazers small forward Maurice Harkless keeps getting tossed around. At least in that scenario the Bulls are getting a return where they could utilize a player better than he is being used now and fill a positional need. Young also gets to go to a contender in the Western Conference, so the impact will be made far away from the Windy City.

But there’s a multitude of other landing spots for Young that works out well for him and the Bulls at this point.

Here’s a look into the four best potential trade destinations for power forward Thaddeus Young if the Chicago Bulls were to deal him at the deadline.
