1. Jim Boylen and GarPax are failing us again

There shouldn’t be more than this rebuild left in the tank for Paxson and the president of basketball operations for the Chicago Bulls. Forman is more of an afterthought for Bulls fans, since his decision making doesn’t play as much of a role in this organization as Paxson’s. But most Bulls fans would want both gone either way.

In general, the Reinsdorfs should have a higher standard for this Bulls front office than GarPax running things for what is going on more than a decade now. GarPax might be one of the worst front office combinations in the NBA. The dysfunction can really only be topped by the Knicks. And the Knicks make it near impossible to top their level of dysfunction year in and year out.

Furthermore, Boylen has just one win against a team with a winning record this season. And his offensive schemes are getting little to no positive result against any competent NBA team. The Bulls rank at No. 28 in the NBA in offensive rating and at No. 25 in points per game. The defense is fine, but the offense is not.

All in all, the patience should be worn completely thin for the Bulls fan base. Eventually the Reinsdors will have to do something to shake it up in this front office and at the head of the coaching staff. The Bulls could at least be sitting in playoff position in the East right now if Boylen was not the head coach. There would also be more direction for this rebuild with a better front office.
