Chicago Bulls: 4 potential Denzel Valentine trade packages
This is the biggest trade packages idea featured on this list for the Chicago Bulls. Adding veteran forward Thaddeus Young into trade talks makes matching salaries and capable players difficult, but it can be done. Young doesn’t seem happy in the Windy City with the role he’s found himself in his inaugural season in a Bulls uniform.
At this point of the regular season, and with how much roster movement most NBA teams had in free agency last offseason, it’s really tough to salary match with all 29 organizations. But the Bulls could salary match with the Los Angeles Clippers here, it just doesn’t see GarPax haul in any of their big name pieces.
The most intriguing part of this trade deal that the Bulls would be receiving is the former Portland Trail Blazers capable two-way small forward Maurice Harkless. Second-year guard Jerome Robinson could also find more success by getting a bigger role in a new system and a change of scenery.
The last piece that the Bulls get from the Clippers in this possible trade deal is the sharpshooting third-year point guard Derrick Walton Jr. The sub-10.0 player efficiency rating from Walton Jr. this season isn’t the most appealing. But the fact that the Bulls could land a point guard that is a solid facilitator and outside shooter makes it worth the risk.
