The last two players on this list didn’t have the best start to the 2019-20 regular season, and a change of scenery could really benefit them. The first of those two players that the Chicago Bulls could go after is the former Hawks 7-foot and 245 pound center Dewayne Dedmon.

At 30-years-old, the days of growth in Dedmon’s game are in the rear view mirror. But the value he brings to the table as a modern stretch big that can shoot better than 35 percent from three-point range on a good season could be good for the Bulls. He could be what Boylen and the Bulls were originally hoping to get out of the former Knicks center Luke Kornet.

So far this season, Dedmon is averaging 5.1 points per game, 4.1 rebounds, and 0.4 assists while shooting 42.0 percent from the field and 23.1 percent from three-point range. The good news is that the free-throw shooting percentage for Dedmon is up this season. He’s shooting better than 84 percent from the charity stripe, when he’s usually around 72 percent for his career.

The volume of open three-point attempts Dedmon is getting this season in combination with a drop in his playing time could have something to do with why he’s struggling with the Sacramento Kings. But the Bulls might be able to give Dedmon a starting role while WCJ is out with this sprained ankle.
