Game 15: San Antonio Spurs (Jan. 27)

As one of the NBA’s hotter teams heading into this battle with the Chicago Bulls, the San Antonio Spurs are looking to make the most of the back end of the tenure of legendary head coach Gregg Popovich. The Spurs own the seventh spot in the playoff picture out West, and both their stars are rolling.

Unfortunately, the Bulls catch the Spurs at the wrong time and are convincingly defeated at home in the Windy City.

Score Prediction: Spurs 119, Bulls 103 (Record 21-28)

Game 16: at Indiana Pacers (Jan. 29)

For the second time this month, the Bulls square off against an Oladipo-less Pacers team that still owns a top five record in the standings in the East. The Bulls are trying to get a January sweep of the Pacers to shock the Central Division. But head coach Nate McMillan and his team aren’t letting it happen this time around.

Indiana is happy to be back at home at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse and turn their fortunes around against the Bulls. LaVine, Markkanen, and WCJ are held to just 25 points combined and the Bulls are sent packing with a two-game losing streak with one game left in January.

Score Prediction: Pacers 104, Bulls 87 (Record 21-29)

Game 17: at Brooklyn Nets (Jan. 31)

The finale for the month of January for the Bulls comes on the final day, the 31st. The Bulls get to take on the Brooklyn Nets, and a finally healthy star point guard Kyrie Irving.

This ends up as the most entertaining game of the month for the Bulls, and one of the very best of the regular season to date. Kyrie and LaVine go back and forth all game long, and the Bulls come out with a last-second game-winning two-pointer from Wendell that keeps them from extending their losing streak to three.

Score Prediction: Bulls 109, Nets 107 (Record 22-29)
