Fourth quarter
The Bulls started the fourth quarter strong in hopes of closing out the game with a win. So often this season the team has let winnable games get away. This time, the Bulls did not disappoint.
White and company made sure the Hawks felt the blow dealt by a third loss to the Bulls.

White was one of six Bulls’ players to score double-figures against the Hawks.
In a bit of a ceremonious send-off, Hawks forward Vince Carter received a standing ovation from the crowd in what many believe will be his final appearance at the United Center.

LaVine and Markkanen weren’t forced to close out the game as though it was necessary to ensure the win over the Hawks. Some of the Bulls’ reserves, who are further out of the Bulls’ regular rotation, were given minutes toward the end of regulation.
The Hawks would never regain the lead during the game after going on a 4-0 run in the initial minutes of the first quarter.
The Bulls beat the Hawks 116-81 improving their regular season record to 13-20. Next up, the Bulls will face the Milwaukee Bucks. The game starts Monday at 7 p.m. CST.
