Number of starts: 405

Over the course of the last decade, D-Rose had the most starts of any point guard for the Chicago Bulls. But Hinrich has the most starts of any Bulls point guard since the turn of the century. D-Rose is also without question the best point guard to suit up for the Bulls since the turn of the century, and maybe in franchise history.

Moreover, D-Rose is the brightest star that landed with this Bulls franchise since those great 1990’s dynasty teams led by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were disbanded. What would have happened if not for D-Rose tearing his ACL during the 2012 Bulls playoff run against the Philadelphia 76ers as the one seed in the East?

If not for all the knee injuries that Rose experienced throughout the early-to-mid 2010’s, he might still be one of the NBA’s best point guards. He was the youngest NBA MVP winner ever when he took the honors back to the Windy City at the conclusion of the 2010-11 season. Rose also took home accolades like the 2008-09 Rookie of the Year honors, 2010-11 All-NBA, and three All-Star selections.

In the more than 400 games that Rose played in a Bulls uniform, he averaged 19.7 points per game, 6.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 0.8 steals. At his peak, he was posting more than .200 win shares per 48 minutes and a box plus/minus rating above 5.0.

Seeing Rose revitalize his career in the last two seasons with the Detroit Pistons and Timberwolves is great to see. He is a legend in Bulls lore and still has prime years of production left, at 31-years-old now, if he can stay healthy more consistently with lighter workloads.
