12. Denzel Valentine, Shooting Guard

Team: Atlanta Hawks

Original Draft Slot: 14

The original No. 14 overall pick of the Chicago Bulls in the 2016 NBA Draft winds up landing with the Atlanta Hawks in this re-draft. The 6-foot-6 Valentine takes his vision and capable floor spacing ability to the Peach State, which will help give some help off the bench to the former Oklahoma star point guard Trae Young.

At 26-years-old and in his fourth season in the NBA, Valentine is having a nice resurgence by averaging 7.0 points per game, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists, while shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from three-point range. He’s a modern fit with a team that needs help at the two guard, with the Hawks.

13. Ivica Zubac, Center

Team: Sacramento Kings

Original Draft Slot: 32

The Lakers originally used their No. 32 overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft to take the Serbian former Mega Leks big man Ivica Zubac off the board. But Zubac stood out with both of the NBA teams in Los Angeles to get to the point where he’s at today.

A thin frontcourt for the Kings over the course of the last three seasons gets partly plugged by the addition of Zubac. This center is averaging 8.3 points per game, 6.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.9 blocks, while posting a player efficiency rating of 21.0 and 2.5 win shares. He is close to grabbing the eighth win share of his career likely within the next two or three games.
