3. Charlotte Hornets (Dec. 13)

Final Score: 83-73, Hornets

Only time will tell if the Chicago Bulls offense can get going to not post such a lame score as they did on Friday night against the Hornets. The Bulls absolutely embarrassed themselves offensively, as they posted by far their lowest point total of the season. The Hornets rank in the bottom half of the NBA in points allowed per game (more than 111) and No. 24 in defensive rating.

If anyone told me that the Bulls were going to hold the Hornets to 83 points, a pretty solid offensive team considering how the roster looks on paper, I would say they get the win at least 95 percent of the time. But a Bulls team that is crazy inconsistent on both ends of the floor so far this season can’t even bring enough consistency to reach 90 points against a bad Hornets defense.

Since the Hornets are jockeying for playoff position right now in the Eastern Conference with the likes of the Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, and the Bulls, this was a much needed win. But pretty much every Bulls player outside of Young, Arcidiacono, and rookie center Daniel Gafford completely fell flat.

These FanDuel Player of the Game honors on the Bulls side going to Arcidiacono was popular among Bulls fans on social media on Friday night. It is very sad that Arcidiacono came off the bench to be about the most efficient player for his team on the night. This insanely poor offensive outing is a new low point on that end of the floor for the Bulls this season.
