Wendell Carter Jr., Center

Poor usage by Boylen is the name of the game for a number of skilled players for the Chicago Bulls. One of those is the second-year center, and 2018 seventh overall draft pick of the Bulls, Wendell Carter Jr.

Averaging nearly a double-double per game (12.2 points per game and 9.8 rebounds), Carter Jr. is showing clear progress in his sophomore campaign. He needs to get a higher usage rate and calm down on all the personal fouls. He is averaging a whopping 4.1 personal fouls per game.

Grade: B+

Otto Porter Jr.*, Small Forward

The former Washington Wizards small forward Otto Porter Jr. has an asterisk next to his name among the starters for a similar reason why Hutchison would. Both of those small forwards have only played in nine games this season thanks to injury issues.

When OPJ was healthy through nine games, he averaged 11.2 points per game, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists on 41.7 percent shooting from the field and 40.0 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The Bulls need him back, and soon.

Tomas Satoransky, Guard

A fellow former Wizard, the 6-foot-7 guard Tomas Satoransky, is having himself a solid start to his time in a Bulls uniform. He is about the best player so far among the three big free agent signings for the Bulls from last offseason.

Much like Carter Jr., Boylen and assistant coach Chris Fleming need to be drawing up more plays to get the ball run through Satoransky. It is a shame that such an efficient scorer like Satoransky that has a career-best assist rate (30.1 percent) has just a usage rate of 16.1 percent.
