6. Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah brought the energy and intensity to the Bulls organization that will undoubtedly leave him remembered as a Bull for years to come.

Currently, Noah is an unsigned free agent. He had been in talks during 2019 free agency to potentially join the Los Angeles Clippers or the Los Angeles Lakers. Things didn’t pan out according to plan.

It remains unclear if Noah will get another opportunity to play in the league.

There were reports circulating that Noah suffered a career-ending injury, but those statements have since been walked back, according to media reports.

Last season Noah spent time with the Memphis Grizzlies. At age 34, he truly shined when given the opportunity. Noah has long been known for his ability to defend and get teams into their offensive sets.

As his career statistics show, Noah is averaging 8.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Those numbers might appear a bit underwhelming.

As it’s been widely reported, Noah was a bit unproductive during his time with the New York Knicks. This is not to say that Noah couldn’t prove to be a valuable addition to a team contending for the playoffs.

At the same time, Noah’s peak is arguably behind him at this point. In his prime, Noah earned recognition as Defensive Player of the Year for his play during the 2013-14 season.
