2. Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler will undoubtedly be connected in some shape or form to the Bulls for years to come.

Why, you ask?

Butler is viewed by some people as the type of talent the Bulls should have built a team around. As history shows, things didn’t go according to plan.

At the same time, it’s interesting to note how the Bulls have yet to qualify for the playoffs since deciding to embark on a rebuild. The problem is Butler has made two postseason appearances in the last two seasons since leaving Chicago.

Is it a coincidence?

We’ll know more as the 2019-20 season progresses. Currently, Butler is a member of the Miami Heat. He signed a huge deal with the team in free agency. While the Heat did not qualify for the playoffs last season, many believe they have a shot at claiming one of the top four seeds, if all continues to go according to plan.

It’s clear that Butler is a bull at heart  and is the type of competitor willing to do all the little things for the win. He is widely known in the league for his ability to defend and get to the free-throw line for buckets.

As his career statistics show, Butler is averaging 16.8 points, 5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
