1. Marvin Williams, Power Forward

Current Team: Charlotte Hornets

The idea of the Charlotte Hornets dishing out veteran 33-year-old power forward Marvin Williams is one that stuck around for the a long time. This long-time veteran forward for Charlotte has played in more than 1,000 career regular season games and started in well over 800 of them. He brings more experience to the table than most any big man on the Bulls roster right now.

With how young the Hornets got over the offseason, Williams is left as one of the few experienced players on the team. He is still producing at a decent level for a starting power forward. But if he’s traded elsewhere, he might be moved into more of a sixth or seventh man role coming off the bench instead of starting.

Moreover, the scoring volume won’t really be present if the Bulls were to trade for Williams, but he is efficient in catch-and-shoot situations. Williams is shooting a sparkling 50 percent from the field, 41.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 89.3 percent from the free-throw line so far this season.

If the Bulls were to throw in a potent young player, like a Chandler Hutchison or Denzel Valentine and some future draft assets, then landing Williams might not be all that difficult. The Hornets should be in a full rebuilding mode and adding young players to their youth movement makes a lot of sense.
