1. The lack of accountability

There’s an honorable mention on this list for the most egregious errors by Boylen with the Chicago Bulls this season that the usage of second-year center Wendell Carter Jr. is lower than it was last year. The fact that Carter Jr. is such a coachable player and Boylen is misusing him to such a great degree shows the lack of accountability extending way beyond the Bulls head coach.

A lot of the changes that should be called for in the near future within this franchise stems from the front office-down. Boylen is part of the problem, but GarPax might be the main source. Same with Michael Reinsdorf. The personnel decisions consistently leave all NBA fans scratching their heads. Just take the three-year contract extension handed to Boylen over the offseason as an example.

However, Boylen just doesn’t seem to care much about losing. And his goofy antics continue each passing week as the Bulls keep piling up the losses. From Boylen blaming his players for this team’s problems this season, to his weird “Field of Dreams” comparisons, something needs to change. The problem is that the lack of accountability stems to the front office to such a degree, that Boylen will probably be around with the Bulls for a while.

All these coaching errors that Boylen seems to have game in and game out are going to continue to wear down this Bulls fan base. The players also have to be getting tired of Boylen’s antics, from the wind sprints all the way up to the time clock and punch cards this season. This is getting pretty ridiculous that these antics are coming from an NBA head coach.
