Center: Joakim Noah (2007-2016)
9.3 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 3.0 APG, 57.3 WS, 17.7 PER
There’s not many players in the history of the Chicago Bulls, even on those great 1990’s dynasty teams, that have as many career win shares with this team than Noah.
Even though he looks to be one of the best veteran big men available on the free agent market this season, Noah is still without work in the NBA. He was a consideration for the Los Angeles Lakers when they needed a big man once DeMarcus Cousins went down with a season-ending injury, but they elected to sign Dwight Howard.
However, that doesn’t takeaway from the greatness that Noah brought to the Windy City in his nine seasons here. He’s a two-time All-Star selection, both during his time with the Bulls, and a three-time All-NBA Defensive Team honoree. He won the Defensive Player of the Year award for the 2013-14 season too.
He has one of the most impressive career defensive box plus/minus ratings we’ve ever seen with the Bulls (4.1).
The career 112 offensive rating with the Bulls, and the even more sparkling 100 defensive rating just showed how valuable Noah was to this team. He was the perfect star sidekick under Tibs, that flanked D-Rose, while this Bulls squad was so close to getting to an NBA Finals.
There was one point when Noah even led the NBA in defensive win shares in a single season, 2013-14. He led the league in defensive box plus/minus rating the season previous.
