A solid team that you could piece together for the Chicago Bulls throughout the 2010’s would feature stars like Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, and Joakim Noah.
This decade is nearly drawing to a close. After the Chicago Bulls 107-103 road loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Nov. 29, they moved to 6-14 on the season and closed out this month’s slate. Next up for the Bulls will be a road showdown against the Sacramento Kings in the third leg of this Western Conference road trip, on Dec. 2.
However, the Bulls are having their third down year in a row. In the third year of this rebuild, the fans are going through trying times. There were very good Bulls teams that took to the court at the United Center back in the early-to-mid 2010’s. Led by former superstar point guard Derrick Rose and the defensive standout center Joakim Noah, the Bulls were one of the better regular season teams in the Eastern Conference for a good six or seven years.
And although the Bulls never made it as far as the NBA Finals during the tenure that featured D-Rose and Noah on this team, the chances were there. The door slammed to title contention for the Bulls thanks to the rampant injury issues that plagued D-Rose and his knees during his time in the Windy City.
