1. Wendell Carter Jr.

Previous ranking: 1

Guess what, everyone! The 20-year-old center is still the best player on the Bulls.

Wendell Carter Jr. can’t even drink alcohol legally for a few more months, but he’s the Bulls’ best player and it’s not all that close. Sure, LaVine is the only guy on the Bulls who can create a shot out of thin air, but that doesn’t mean he’s the best player. Wendell’s ability to make an impact on offense, defense and in the locker room makes him the Bulls’ MVP through 20 games.

On the season, Wendell is averaging 12.7 points per game on an efficient 56.9 percent shooting from the field to go along with 9.7 rebounds. The bad news? He’s only averaging 0.9 assists per game. I’m expecting that to change, though.

Carter’s far too good of a passer to only be averaging 0.9 assists per game. I’m hoping the Bulls will start to run things through him more. Maybe it’s at the high-post or maybe it’s at the block. Either way, Wendell needs the ball more, and that’s something the coaching staff has to realize.

Next. 5 things Bulls fans can be thankful for in 2019. dark

Wendell will probably never lead the Bulls in scoring, but right now, he’s the only Bull I wouldn’t even consider trading. He has the highest trade value on the team. He’s the best player.
