4. Tomas Satoransky
Previous ranking: 5
Tomas Satoransky has quietly been really solid for the Bulls this season. The 6’7″ point guard has been efficient and smart — something you can’t say about many players on this team.
He’s averaging 9.4 points per game on 46.4 percent shooting from the field and 44.3 percent shooting from 3-point range to go along with 5.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds. His true shooting percentage (58 percent) is the second-highest on the team among those who average at least 20 minutes per game.
Sato has been frustrating lately, though. He needs to be more aggressive. He needs to have an alpha-dog mindset. He’s arguably the most steady-handed player on the Bulls’ roster, yet he only has a 15.9 usage percentage and is only attempting 7.6 field goals per game.
If Sato ups his aggressiveness and Lauri Markkanen continues to struggle, those two will switch places on this list. Sato could soon be a top-3 player on the Bulls.
