The rest of the lottery (including Wendell Carter Jr.)

Where would the Chicago Bulls original seventh overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft land in this re-draft? Here’s a look at how the rest of the draft lottery would shake out.

8. Cleveland Cavaliers-Wendell Carter Jr., Center

Since Sexton and Carter Jr. were neck and neck to land at seventh overall to the Bulls still in this re-draft, it makes sense that the Cavaliers would establish their future of the frontcourt with the former Duke big man.

9. New York Knicks-Mitchell Robinson, Center

The ironic part about standout center Mitchell Robinson landing with the Knicks at No. 9 is that they selected him at No. 38 overall in this same draft anyway.

10. Philadelphia 76ers-Kevin Huerter, Shooting Guard

A nice fit for the Philadelphia 76ers is filling the wing depth need, and the need to add more outside shooting, with the original 19th overall pick of the Hawks in shooting guard Kevin Huerter.

11. Los Angeles Clippers-Kevin Knox, Small Forward

I have the Clippers still picking here at No. 11, which was a slot that was traded to them by the Charlotte Hornets to land Gilgeous-Alexander. They snag the original ninth overall pick of the Knicks, small forward Kevin Knox.

12. Charlotte Hornets-Miles Bridges, Small Forward

The Clippers and Hornets swapped picks at No. 11 and 12. Even with the trades still standing as they were, the Hornets get former Michigan State small forward Miles Bridges at 12th overall.

13. Los Angeles Clippers-Michael Porter Jr., Power Forward

The Denver Nuggets made it a them to take on injured players with insanely high ceilings in the past two NBA Drafts. But they don’t get the chance to snag former Mizzou Tigers power forward and the uber-talented Michael Porter Jr. before the Clippers snag him at 13.

14. Denver Nuggets-Mohamed Bamba, Center

Since the Nuggets didn’t get the chance to draft a project prospect that they had to be patient with injury in Porter Jr., then they get to draft the original No. 6 pick of the Magic, Mo Bamba.
