player. Pick Analysis. Original Draft Slot: 2. 6. Scouting Report. Power Forward/Center. Marvin Bagley. 38

Possibly the biggest bust in the top 10 picks of the 2018 NBA Draft so far is the former Texas Longhorns center, and the No. 6 overall pick of the Orlando Magic, Mohamed Bamba. The Magic didn’t get anything close to what they anticipated out of Bamba yet, and he might not even be a lottery pick in this re-draft if we went that far in.

If the Magic could get a re-do to piece together their messy frontcourt, then they would have to go with the original No. 2 overall pick of the Kings and former Duke big man Bagley. The injury prone nature of Bagley could play a role in where he lands in this re-draft, but he is still a solid piece for the Magic to build their frontcourt around.

It would also be a nice combination for the Magic to have at the four and the five this season between Bagley and star center Nikola Vucevic. With how the Magic invested with a lot of money over the long-term in Vucevic, Bagley would also become a focal point of their building roster in the Southeast Division.

Bagley was named to the All-Rookie Team last season after a solid first-year with the Kings. In the only game he played in so far this season, he posted 14 points and 10 rebounds. He is averaging 14.9 points per game in his limited NBA career so far.

Hopefully it won’t be all that long before Bagley returns from his broken right thumb injury that limited him since the Kings regular season opener.
