How would the 2018 NBA Draft shake out if it were re-drafted, especially with a focus on the Chicago Bulls who picked at No. 7 and No. 22 overall?

With the Chicago Bulls getting 20 games into the 2019-20 regular season, there is plenty of time to right the ship. But with a 6-14 record through those 20 games, it doesn’t appear as if significant progress will be around the corner anytime soon. Head coach Jim Boylen and the Bulls front office don’t inspire confidence in what’s ahead in the immediate future.

The Bulls are looking at their third consecutive year without any shot at a playoff spot right in the face. John Paxson and Gar Forman should have a lot of the blame put on their shoulders, as should Boylen. But the problem for this Bulls franchise stems well beyond the head coaching tenure of Boylen in the Windy City.

If there was one thing that GarPax did well during their tenure with the Bulls franchise to date, it was scouting and drafting. The problem is that while the Bulls are good and scouting out and finding quality NBA talent, they can’t seem to find the right way to piece them together with their team.

Over the course of the past three NBA Drafts, the Bulls selected at seventh overall each year. Earlier this year, the Bulls used their seventh overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft to select the former North Carolina Tar Heels point guard Coby White. In last year’s draft, they used that same slot in the first round to select the former Duke Blue Devils center Wendell Carter Jr.

But with poor results on the court comes the questions as to whether the Bulls picked correctly in each of the past three drafts. Here’s a look at how all the picks in the 2018 NBA Draft, up to the Chicago Bulls at No. 7 and No. 22 could be re-done, and what they could’ve done better in hindsight.
