If the Chicago Bulls are to pick out the parties responsible for the struggles in the first 19 games this season, here’s three sources to turn to.
The Chicago Bulls are drawing close to the quarter mark of the regular season. It seems weird that the Bulls are already this far into the regular season since just yesterday it feels like they were tipping off on Oct. 23 against the Charlotte Hornets. The Bulls played in 19 games since then and haven’t put together many solid efforts in that span of time.
But the season isn’t moving by fast for the Bulls thanks to all their success. The Bulls can’t seem to string together more than one solid outing once every couple weeks. They enter a key Nov. 29 road showdown against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center with a record of 6-13. This team is starting to fall out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference once again.
The Bulls sit at the bottom of the Central Division standings with two other teams that can’t get it together right now. The Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers are also out of the playoff picture in the East and are falling behind the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks in the Central Division standings.
However, with a roster that was supposed to challenge for a lower-seed in the playoffs this season, where did it all go wrong for the Bulls?
There’s a lot of sources that the blame could fall on, and it’s not always due to poor play on the court. Sometimes injury and poor circumstances thanks to the coaching staff and front office led certain Bulls players to not live up to their billing.
Here’s a look into the three sources that should take the biggest blame for the Chicago Bulls struggles so far this season.
