In blowout fashion, the Chicago Bulls beat the Detroit Pistons in a 109-89 victory Wednesday night, Nov. 20, at the United Center.

Here is a look at some of the highlights from the Chicago Bulls-Detroit Pistons game.

The Bulls seemingly had something to prove as the team looked to snap a three-game losing streak.

The last time the two Eastern Conference foes met, the Pistons lost. Still, the matchup served as a revenge game in a sense for the Bulls.

How, you ask?

Even though the Bulls won the previous matchup, Pistons point guard Derrick Rose received “MVP” chants during the team’s first meeting of the season, which some feel is a knock against the Bulls and its roster.

Those chants all but faded this time around. In fact, it continued at one point early on during game.

The fact that the Bulls secured another win is what should matter after all, and it is hoped to silence some of the criticism the team has received this season.

Credit goes, in part, to big man Lauri Markkanen for finding a way out of his funk. He has faced a bit of backlash from critics this season. Here’s what Markkanen had to say after the game:

One of Markkanen’s teammates gave kudos to the way he approached the game.

Point guard Tomas Satoransky wasn’t just blowing smoke.

In case you missed it, here is a look at some of Markkanen’s highlights:

Markkanen returned Satoransky’s compliments, giving kudos to him for his point guard play.

Much like Markkanen, Satoransky made a bit of a highlight reel during the game. His willingness to get teammates involved continues to pay off.

Also making a statement during the game was point guard Shaquille Harrison. He got his first start of the season at small forward in the absence of Otto Porter Jr. and Chandler Hutchison. Harrison, while he’s not played much this season, impacted the game both defensively and offensively.

Wednesday night’s win was exciting in more ways than one.

It was Luol Deng Night at the United Center, and several former teammates made appearances to celebrate the occasion.

Check it out:

During the game, the Bulls paid tribute to Luol Deng as he signed a ceremonious one-day deal to retire as a Bull. A special video was broadcast for fans in the crowd to watch.

As a Bulls fan, I know how important it is to #SeeRed and exude toughness, but Wednesday night evoked all the feels.

As they say, I was in my feelings like Drake–even if it was only for one night.

The Bulls beat the Pistons 109-89.

Next up, the Bulls take on the Miami Heat. The game starts Friday at 7 p.m. CST.
