On the outside looking in
For this big board for the NBA Draft 2020, we will be looking into the top 30 prospects for next June. That will leave a handful of NBA prospects that will be on the outside looking in that can still easily make their way into the first round conversation. Late risers for the NBA Draft will always play a role come the NBA Combine and the latter stages of college basketball’s season.
Devon Dotson, Kansas
The Kansas Jayhawks are off to a decent start this season, but there’s still a long way to go. And sophomore star Kansas point guard Devon Dotson is off to a great start in a crucial year in terms of his draft stock. He’s averaging about seven more points per game and doubling the amount of times per game he’s getting to the free-throw line compared to his freshman season.
Killian Hayes, France
A sizable point guard that could see a big rise in his draft stock is the 6-foot-7 French native floor general Killian Hayes. An insane set of physical tools and a very high floor on the defensive end makes Hayes a great modern fit with an NBA team that needs help in the late first or early second round. Hayes is a project, though.
Bryan Antoine, Villanova
The guards are going to rule the this NBA Draft 2020 class. The former 6-foot-5 highly touted five-star recruit and the skilled Villanova Wildcats combo guard Bryan Antoine doesn’t have much exposure nationally yet. But he is a good shooter and has solid potential as a two-way wing in a smaller lineup.
