The Miami Heat are fortunate to be in the spot they’re in at the moment. And they have a prominent former Bull superstar wing in the mix this season with small forward Jimmy Butler. With that in mind, we could be looking at a runaway winner of the Southeast Division this season with the Heat.

To be in such a good spot in the standings in the East right now, the Heat have to thank the production of the former Kentucky Wildcats guard Tyler Herro and breakthrough point guard Kendrick Nunn.

We also have to at least mention the hot start of Nunn so far this season. While Nunn would really be fighting an uphill battle to win the Rookie of the Year award this season, he looks like a dark horse challenger right now. He’s also helping to space the floor for Herro.

It looks as if the 13.1 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists that Herro is averaging could only go up from here. He’s also shooting better than 37 percent from three-point range. It’s rare that you see a rookie guard like Herro find his spots so efficiently.

But what could see White apart from Herro with the Chicago Bulls is his volume scoring ability. When White is hot, he’s really hot. Hence his record-setting seven three-pointers in one quarter for the Bulls in the Nov. 11 win over the New York Knicks.
