Power ranking Chicago Bulls players through the first 10 games

5. Tomas Satoransky
Tomas Satoransky, the Bulls’ big point guard addition of the summer, has had a nice start to the 2019-20 season. The Bulls brought him in to improve their point guard rotation, and so far, he’s done exactly that. He hasn’t played at a super high level, but no one expected him to. The Bulls just need him to be solid.
So far this season, Sato is averaging 8.9 points per game on fantastic .457/.458/.875 shooting splits. He’s also dishing out 5.5 assists and only turning the ball over twice per game. My only gripe with Sato: He needs to be more aggressive.
Sato is fourth on the team in true shooting percentage and fifth in effective field goal percentage but is only 11th in usage rate. I’d love to see the ball in his hands more, especially in pick-and-roll situations. He’s currently only getting three possessions per game as the pick-and-roll ball handler.
If the Bulls want to unlock Sato’s full potential, they need to give him more offensive responsibilities.
