Power ranking Chicago Bulls players through the first 10 games

6. Thaddeus Young
Getting Thaddeus Young in a Bulls jersey over the summer was a huge win for the franchise. They desperately needed a playoff-tested veteran that could come in and make impact plays off the bench.
Young provides exactly that. He’s not a star, but you know what you’re going to get from him night in and night out. He’s going to work his tail off, play solid defense and be in the right spot at the right time.
If the Bulls continue to look like a lottery team, expect a lot of playoff teams to be calling Chicago about Thad’s availability as the trade deadline nears. But for now, he’s the oldest player on a young and struggling team. He needs to continue being that stabilizing presence off the bench. He needs to help the Bulls’ youngsters learn how to win.
One way Thad can help this team is by taking fewer threes. He’s attempting the most of his career (6.2 per 36 minutes) but is only making 34.2 percent of them. I like that he has the ability to stretch the floor, but he should be in the 1.5-3 attempts per 36 minutes range.
