An exciting name that would bring a lot of offensive firepower to the table for the Chicago Bulls is the Duke Blue Devils former four-star recruit and shooting guard Cassius Stanley. An all-around skill set could be what NBA teams will desire from Stanley as he could be one of the most well-rounded prospects for next year’s draft among the one-and-dones.

There wouldn’t be much versatility between Stanley and the Bulls to play on the wing. He’s going to be more of a pure shooting guard on any NBA team that he lands on. But that doesn’t takeaway from the fact that his 6-foot-6 and 195 pound frame and insane agility and lateral quickness can’t make him a good perimeter defender at the next level.

He’ll just have to show under Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski this season that he can improve as a defender as the season moves along. The last thing that the Bulls likely want with their first round draft pick next year is another player that is usually a net-negative at the two guard on the defensive end of the floor.

Stanley is of to a very solid start this season, with 16.0 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.5 assists. He’s also shooting well over 75 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc. If those numbers keep up throughout the season, then the draft stock for Stanley will skyrocket as we move closer to the 2020 NBA Draft.
