player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Forward. Memphis. 24. Precious Achiuwa. 6

The Chicago Bulls currently sit with the sixth worst record in all of basketball. If this trend continues, the Bulls will have a serious issue on their hands. In this scenario, the Bulls would have experienced what is likely an unsuccessful rebuild.

Moving this pick in a package for a legit star would be a much wiser decision, but for the sake of this mock they will end up taking a wing to become the eventual replacement to Otto Porter Jr., who has struggled greatly to this point in the season.

Precious Achiuwa was a five-star recruit in the high school class of 2019 who committed to play alongside fellow standout Wiseman for the Memphis Tigers. Achiuwa shows legitimate two-way promise at the NBA level as one of the best on-ball defenders in the class.

His size, at 6-foot-9, along with a 7-foot-2 inch wingspan allows him to guard nearly every position on the floor. He is also a phenomenal athlete who can play above the rim. He also has a very nice stroke from three which should translate to the NBA level.

Because he is fairly new to the game of basketball, Achiuwa still has some weaknesses in his game. For starters, his shot selection has been iffy at best throughout his high school career.

However, playing alongside the top prospect in basketball and a very intelligent coach in Penny Hardaway should remedy this issue. In addition, Achiuwa’s ball handling is quite lackluster, but even if this does not get fixed he absolutely can thrive at the NBA level.

Nonetheless, the fact that he is new to the game gives scouts hope that he can fix both of these issues. His ceiling is extremely high, which is exactly what the Bulls would need if they end up picking in the top-ten for a fourth straight season.
