11. Chandler Hutchison, Small Forward

One important player, just purely in terms of wing depth, for the Chicago Bulls that could be making his season debut soon is the second-year former Boise State Broncos small forward Chandler Hutchison. The Bulls need help behind Porter Jr. in the wing rotation. Boylen has to get pretty creative with the looks he’s coming off with for the three spot.

The 2018 first round draft pick of the Bulls, 22nd overall, didn’t live up to the expectations as a rookie that he had as a supposedly polished wing coming out of the Boise State basketball program. But Hutchison had the opportunity to make strides with an improved roster off the bench around him in his second season.

We still have yet to see Hutchison in game action since the Vegas Summer League. He wasn’t all that impressive in his brief showing in Summer League either. Given the lack of proven production and the injury history combined with how much help the Bulls need with wing depth, it’s not too difficult to see GarPax pulling the trigger on a trade package involving Hutchison.

Nonetheless, the 6-foot-7 Hutchison still manages to get intrigue surrounding him thanks to a solid level of athleticism and good physical tools. He also has the two-way potential to fill that role that NBA teams look for out of modern wings. If he can get that three-point shot down, he’ll truly be one of the more valuable trade targets on the Bulls bench.
