If you thought it was too early to look into the 2017 or 2018 NBA Draft and judge who the Chicago Bulls should’ve taken, then wait until we get to the former North Carolina Tar Heels point guard Coby White. Since the Bulls needed a point guard heading into the 2019 draft, this looks to be a great move.

The Bulls did well to snag two solid players in the 2019 NBA Draft between White and the former Arkansas rim-running center Daniel Gafford. White and Gafford could both be contributing either in the starting five or off the bench for head coach Jim Boylen and the Bulls for a very long time. Gafford in the second round was an absolute steal too.

Right after the Bulls selected White in this year’s draft, the New Orleans Pelicans selected the former Texas Longhorns center Jaxson Hayes and the Wizards took a chance on the Japanese former Gonzaga Bulldogs big man Rui Hachimura.

But potentially the most interesting guard the Bulls could’ve landed with this year is the first round pick of the Heat, shooting guard Tyler Herro. Thus far, Herro is an complete baller for the Heat. But White fits that same bill for the Bulls so far with his standout play off the bench through three games and the preseason.

We’ll still leave this be with White as the best selection for the Bulls.
