Chicago Bulls: Player grades from terrible loss to Raptors
By Luke Askew
The Chicago Bulls put up a dud in their 2019-20 home opener. Here are player grades from the disappointing, humiliating loss.
It’s not a surprise that the Toronto Raptors bested the Chicago Bulls tonight at the United Center. The Raptors are coming off a summer full of showing off the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and the Bulls are… not. It is a surprise, though, that the Bulls didn’t even show up in front of their electrified home crowd.
Unlike the first two games of the 2019-20 NBA season, the defense was acceptable and the offense fell behind. The Bulls failed to score more than 23 points in any quarter, and they got outscored 84-61 in the final three quarters. That’s usually not the recipe for winning basketball games in the NBA. You can’t shoot 29.9 percent from the field and expect to beat anyone good.
Here are player grades from the horrible loss.
The Bulls will look to get back on track Monday when they head to MSG to take on the New York Knicks.
