The Chicago Bulls picked up their first win of the 2019-20 NBA season tonight in Memphis. Here are player grades from the bounce-back W.

After a disappointing opening-night loss, the Chicago Bulls headed to Memphis looking to turn things around. Bulls fans were having deja vu for most of the game. The defense was atrocious and the game was sloppy.

Chicago was down most of the night, but a late-game surge sparked by Zach LaVine and Coby White helped the Bulls secure a gritty, necessary win.

Here are player grades from the Bulls’ first win of the 2019-20 NBA season.

A. Zach LaVine had a bad opening night, but he more than made up for it tonight against the Grizzlies. He was aggressive and efficient all night long, finishing with a beautiful 37 points on 13-of-23 shooting from the field and 4-of-8 shooting from 3-point range. He also added six rebounds, four assists, three steals and only turned the ball over twice. Well done, Zach.. Guard. Chicago Bulls. ZACH LAVINE

D+. <a href=. Forward. Chicago Bulls. LAURI MARKKANEN

B-. <a href=. Guard. Chicago Bulls. KRIS DUNN

C-. <a href=. Center. Chicago Bulls. WENDELL CARTER JR.

COBY WHITE. A+. There won’t be many people doubting Coby White’s NBA-readiness after tonight’s showing. He played like a 28-year-old, not a 19-year-old. The Bulls desperately needed someone to step up and help LaVine out on the offensive end of the court and White answered the call. He finished the game with 25 points on an efficient 10-of-16 shooting from the field and 4-of-8 shooting from 3-point land. He also added six rebounds and didn’t turn the ball over once. Take a bow, Coby.. Guard. Chicago Bulls
