5. Tomas Satoransky averages 7 assists per game with less than 2 turnovers

The Chicago Bulls needed to go out and grab a veteran facilitator in free agency during the offseason and that’s exactly what GarPax was able to do. GarPax pulled off a solid sign-and-trade deal with the Washington Wizards to nab guard Tomas Satoransky on a three-year contract worth about $10 million each year.

An underrated aspect for the Bulls with the addition of Satoransky is the usage of fellow point guard Kris Dunn now. While Dunn was used as the primary facilitator at the one for the Bulls at times, he never really thrived in that role. Boylen even had to consider the idea of using budding star shooting guard Zach LaVine as a point guard at one point last season.

Although it appears as if the Bulls offense, at least in terms of the starting lineup or when he’s on the floor, is in much better hands with Satoransky commanding things. He also has a better supporting cast in the Windy City this season than he had in the nation‘ s capital last.

It might actually not be a bold prediction for Satoransky to make that jump from five assists and about 1.5 turnovers per game last season to seven assists this season and less than two turnovers. That would be a very nice assist-to-turnover ratio for him with an improved supporting cast in the Bulls starting five.
