Game 5: Cleveland Cavaliers

Date: Oct. 30

Location: Quicken Loans Arena

There was a competition between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls in the Central Division last season to figure out who the worst team in the standings would be. The Bulls wound up with just 22 wins while the Cavs continued to tank in the post-LeBron James-era that didn’t treat them all that well.

If the Bulls are coming into that game with a 3-1 record, with only one loss that came to the defending NBA Champion Raptors, then this game against the Cavaliers means a lot. The Cavaliers are riding on the coattails of the star veteran power forward Kevin Love and second-year former Alabama Crimson Tide point guard Collin Sexton.

But this matchup turns into a battle between Satoransky and the rookie former top five draft pick point guard Darius Garland. The Bulls aren’t expecting Garland to come out of the gate as hot as he does. He racks up more than 20 points on better than 50 percent shooting from three-point range in the first half alone.

There’s enough production from Satoransky to hold onto the lead for the Bulls heading into the fourth quarter. LaVine and Markkanen finally get going in the fourth quarter to the tune of 45 combined second half points. A nice shooting outing from the Bulls overshadows a turnover-fest against a pretty sub-par Cavaliers defense to nab the fourth win of the season in five games.

Final Score Prediction: Bulls-106, Cavaliers-102 (Record 4-1)
