Chicago Bulls: Game-by-game predictions through the month of October
How will the rest of the slate for the Chicago Bulls throughout the month of October go with five regular season games on tap?
The start of the 2019-20 regular season for the Chicago Bulls is drawing very close. The regular season tips for the Bulls on Oct. 23 on the road at the Spectrum Center against the Charlotte Hornets. They follow that up with another road test against the Memphis Grizzlies on Oct. 25. Getting two winnable games out of the way to tip off the regular season could be a nice way to start for the Bulls.
Given the 22-60 record the Bulls finished out with last season, there needs to be a turn in momentum for this team to make a legit playoff push in the Eastern Conference. But the East looks pretty weak this year from top-to-bottom which could give the Bulls an easier path to battling for a seven or eight seed this season and make it into the playoffs for the first time in three seasons.
Through the month of October, the Bulls have five games over a stretch of nine days. That could be a tough stretch fatigue-wise since the travel will be frequent. There’s a difficult back-to-back that’s strung in there between the second and third games of the regular season. The third game will be the first at home at the United Center.
And of the five games the Bulls play in the regular season throughout this month, four are on the road and only one is in the friendly confines of the United Center. That also leads into a difficult stretch of games against the Western Conference in November.
The Bulls did at least end the preseason on a high note with a dominant win over the Atlanta Hawks in the finale at home by the final score of 111-93. But the preseason doesn’t mean much once the regular season tips off.
Here’s a look into the game-by-game predictions for the Chicago Bulls from the five outings they have throughout the rest of this month.
