4. Tomas Satoransky completes this starting five

The ability of the former Wizards combo guard Satoransky to efficiently facilitate the offense and shoot from good spots on the floor gives the Chicago Bulls a nice fit at the one in the starting five. Early on, Satoransky is proving that he can be a force to be reckoned with in the Bulls starting five on both ends of the floor.

There was all sorts of game action to watch involving Satoransky during the offseason. He played in the FIBA World Cup with the Czech Republic and was one of the event’s leading scorers and assist-getters. He also put up some nice numbers during the preseason by averaging 7.5 points per game, 4.75 assists, 4.25 rebounds, and 2.25 steals.

And the awesome showing Satoransky had in the FIBA World Cup earlier this year could help him have more momentum heading into the regular season. It surely helped him out during the preseason, where he played in four games and started in three. He looks to be the opening night point guard for Boylen and the Bulls. And rightly so.

The 6-foot-7 Satoransky is coming off a nice last two seasons with the Wizards where he became one of their better role players and contributed off the bench in numerous different spots. He could also play at the one or the two for the Bulls this season. It will be interesting to see how he could combine with fourth-year point guard Kris Dunn in this rotation if they’re ever on the floor together.
