Re-Signed Ryan Arcidiacono: 3 Years, $9 Million (Team Option for 2021-2022)
Ryan Arcidiacono went from being undrafted, to earning a two-way contract, to earning a one-year non-guaranteed contract, to earning a multi-year NBA deal. Perhaps this is why Arcidiacono is a Bulls fan favorite, as he exemplifies the working spirit of the city of Chicago.
With the inflation of NBA contracts today, almost no one signs a multi-year deal for under five million annually, so the Arcidiacono deal has to be seen as a win for the salary cap situation in Chicago. The third-year team option is also huge for Chicago, as the hope is by the summer of 2021 the Bulls will be true a free agency player.
Every team needs a hustle player like Arcidiacono, as he provides an instant spark off of the bench when needed. Although he will more than likely not start a single game at point guard for the Bulls this year and may have a very hard time finding playing time, Arcidiacono provides a very solid depth piece for the Bulls who can pass the ball with great efficiency and serve as a defensive pest.

Re-Signed Shaquille Harrison: 1 Year, $1.62 million ($175k Guaranteed)
The Bulls cut guard Shaquille Harrison at the beginning of the summer in a move that many expected. However, in a more surprising move, the Bulls decided to bring Harrison back on a partially guaranteed deal after cutting him.
Harrison is by no means a bad player. In fact, he was a very nice pick up for the Bulls after being waived by Phoenix at the beginning of last year. However, him returning to the Bulls roster makes absolutely no sense. The Bulls already had four point guards on the roster, with Harrison making a fifth. The fact that his deal is only partially guaranteed makes it better, but this move still made no sense for Chicago.
