2. A surprising name makes the 15-man roster

Since the Chicago Bulls are already dealing with a plethora of injury problems in Training Camp, there could be a whole bunch of new faces getting significant playing time in the preseason. The Bulls shouldn’t overwork a new acquisition like Kornet (especially since he’s dealing with a fragile big man injury like turf toe) and resting combo guard Tomas Satoransky after his lengthy work in Summer League has to be ideal.

The names to watch for the Bulls in Training Camp that could either seal deals in the G-League with the Windy City Bulls or even notch a spot on the 15-man roster are shooting guard Adam Mokoka and combo guard Shaquille Harrison. But Mokoka and Harrison both look plenty capable of occupying a spot deeper down the bench.

The dark horses to make the 15-man roster for the Bulls includes big man Simi Shittu, shooting guard Justin Simon, and combo guard Perrion Callandret. Simon and Callandret both played with the Bulls in Summer League as did Mokoka. These four are long shots to make the final roster, but could still be fun to watch in the preseason.

Head coach Jim Boylen seems like the type to take on a 15th man just due to effort in Training Camp. Boylen runs very high-tempo practices that requite a lot of endurance. Any player that is looking for a dark horse shot to make the final roster should be happy that they have Boylen at the helm in the Windy City.
