Here’s a breakdown look at Yahoo and ESPN’s rankings, average draft positions, and round by round guides to find out where you can land one of the Chicago Bulls. All rankings are for standard scoring and head-to-head points and data coming from Yahoo Fantasy Basketball and ESPN Fantasy Basketball.

Zach LaVine

2018 stats: 23.7 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 4.5 APG

Players Rankings and Average Draft Positions

Position(s): SG, PG

Overall Rank: 41st (Yahoo), 49th (ESPN)

Shooting Guard Rank: 9th (ESPN), 12th (Yahoo)

Average Draft Pick: 52nd (Yahoo), 62nd (ESPN)

Zach LaVine is coming off a career year with Chicago in points, rebounds, assists and many more categories including 18 shots a game. With injuries hindering most of the team in a season with a coaching change, LaVine made the best of it. A snub in the previous All-Star Game makes this season a set up for him to be in the spotlight when All-Star Weekend is in Chicago.

Expect LaVine to control the offense with the point guard position being a revolving door and continue to put up 15-plus shots a night with a healthy team around him. The only negative aspect of LaVine’s game for fantasy is his turnovers per game. He averaged a career-high 3.4 per game almost doubling his previous season of 1.8. For a potential top 10-15 guard in the NBA, getting him anywhere after the fourth round is a steal if you don’t mind the turnovers.

Lauri Markkanen

2018 stats: 18.7 PPG, 9.0 RPG, .361% 3PT

Position(s): PF

Players Rankings and Average Draft Positions

Overall Rank: 40th (ESPN), 59th (Yahoo)

Power Forward Rank: 12th (Yahoo), 14th (ESPN)

Average Draft Pick: 44th (Yahoo), 58th (ESPN)

Markkanen missed 30 games last season and looks like he’s been bodybuilding during this offseason. The Finnish big man set career-highs in just about every category during season two including points, rebounds, and shots attempted (15.3). He did most of his damage with Carter Jr. making the 22 and 20-year old duo worth paying attention too. With 9 rebounds a game, 6.4 threes attempted, and 87.2% from free throw last year, Markkanen is a must-have on your fantasy team if he’s there in the fourth or fifth round.
