Who are the best players the Chicago Bulls could add with a two-way contract to finalize the 20-man roster ahead of Training Camp?
Just a couple of days out from the start of media days and Training Camp in the Chicago Bulls organization, there’s still potential roster moves to be made. The Bulls tip off media days on Sep. 30 and Training Camp is underway just after that.
And the NBA preseason slate tips off for the Bulls on Oct. 7 at home at the United Center against the Central Division foe Milwaukee Bucks. That will begin a busy time for the coaching staff that entails rounding out a young roster that needs more depth at certain spots.
Considering the Bulls had a lack of ability to stay healthy throughout any of the past four regular seasons, there is always the concern that depth is much needed. For that reason, head coach Jim Boylen needs to pay close attention as to how he would like to manage that situation if it were to arise at any point during the 2019-20 campaign.
Entering Training Camp, the Bulls have 19 names on a roster that could potentially include 20. The last roster spot in Training Camp would likely be occupied by a two-way contract. That would give the Bulls two players that could fill potential depth needs down the road that could swap between the NBA and the G-League affiliate Windy City Bulls.
One of the two-way contract slots right now is occupied by the 6-foot-5 rookie shooting guard Adam Mokoka. That still leaves the Bulls with one spot to decide what to do with.
Here’s a look at a re-visitation of four players who the Chicago Bulls could sign as last-minute options for the final roster spot ahead of Training Camp next week.
