Who could rise to the occasion?

I mentioned a lot of names that could be potential starters for the Chicago Bulls by the end of the coming season. So much of that depends on how the injury bug bites the Bulls this season compared to the past two. The Bulls couldn’t do much to stay healthy the past two seasons, so having all this young depth will help out a lot.

However, White is one name to watch as the regular season moves along. His rookie season will be all about improving his game and developing into a solid two-way point guard. He stands at 6-foot-5 and has an excellent offensive arsenal. The transition game also benefits what he brings to the table. But he showed plenty of faults on defense and with shot selection in the Vegas Summer League.

Two other names to watch for the Bulls this season to potentially step into starting roles by season’s end are the former Indiana Pacers forward Thaddeus Young and Kornet. Since Carter Jr. wasn’t able to stay healthy last season, the presence of Kornet and his modern skill set for an NBA big could become crucial.

All three of the players I mentioned here were not present on the Bulls roster last season. This goes to show how much GarPax was able to do to improve this roster through and through. That will help this team become more of a true playoff contender in the East when it’s all said and done.
