Shooting Guard

2018-19 Starter: Zach LaVine

Projected 2019-20 Starter: Zach LaVine

The consistency the Chicago Bulls will get at the two spot is all thanks to a potential budding star in the ultra-athletic Zach LaVine. Last season, we saw LaVine have a true breakthrough with close to 24 points per game, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds. Another improvement like that from LaVine could elevate him to All-Star status in February 2020.

A player that is widely considered to be the best dunker in the NBA today, LaVine is looking to elevate his game again to the next level and prove that he can do more than just dunk on everyone. He won’t have a whole lot of help in the rotation behind him, though. That is unless Boylen runs Harrison and Satoransky switching to the two at times.

The backup behind LaVine at the two should be former Michigan State shooting guard/wing Denzel Valentine. The two aforementioned combo guards might be moved to the two at times, but White could also be some help if his offensive arsenal and two-way skill set develop early on this season.

There is a lot of height for the Bulls at the two. LaVine and Valentine both stand at 6-foot-6. Both are quality offensive players too that have good outside shots. The problem is the durability (or lack thereof) that Valentine showed in the past two years.
