The Chicago Bulls have a slight number of players that could use a change of scenery at this point of their young careers. One that could be on the minds of Bulls fans and GarPax both is former Michigan State Spartans shooting guard and first round NBA Draft pick Denzel Valentine.

This could be a unique role that the Bulls are calling on for Valentine this coming season. With the lack of depth on the wing, Valentine might be asked to fill in at the three at times off the bench. What could happen if the Bulls call on him to fill the role of a sixth or seventh man on the wing?

This could be a team in trouble if more injuries start to pile up. The injury bug also bit Valentine pretty hard himself for the past two seasons. Valentine didn’t play in a single game last season due to a lower-body injury that didn’t look all that bad at first. Yet, a change of scenery could be good for him here.

In this trade package, the Bulls send off Valentine and a future second round pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for another young and potentially promising role player. The potent but inconsistent Timberwolves 6-foot-4 shooting guard Josh Okogie could be a good fit in the Windy City if he is to play at the two in more of a small ball lineup.
