5. Keep Adam Mokoka in the NBA

One of the most intriguing parts of the Chicago Bulls Summer League team in Vegas was the addition of French 6-foot-5 shooting guard/wing Adam Mokoka. Showing potential as a developmental two-way wing or shooting guard from his Summer League body of work, Mokoka was inked down to a two-way deal with the Bulls.

But if the Bulls keep Mokoka up with the big league squad for too long, his two-way deal will be removed and there will be two spots opening up. The Bulls do still have one two-way spot open for a player that could swap between the G-League Windy City Bulls and the Chicago Bulls, but Mokoka looks like he’s going to be utilized at some point.

This could be a good early test for Mokoka if he gets playing time early in the regular season with the Bulls. Boylen would figure out quickly where Mokoka fits into the picture, or if he still needs more time to develop down in the G-League.

However, this option seems more likely than anything else since the Bulls wouldn’t have to turn the focus back to the free agent or trade market to fill a need. Positional needs are slimmer this year than last for the Bulls, but wing needs some help. Mokoka could be that solution that the coaching staff and front office are seeking out right now.
